Those are legit cheaters and no consequence for them in deleting their accounts or banning them outright, Those players would just re-buy the game again and cheat all over again as the cycle goes.īan them again and cha-ching! More money for Capcom and no ill will for cosmetic modders. But if they want to get more sales, they should immediately ban players on the arena leaderboards with times of a minute or less. They don't have anti cheat or any way on detecting if a player is using a mod.

If you just play solo offline then I don't think they would care about modders like FO4 and Skyrim, the Dev team even release tool kits and welcome player to mod their game to fit their need but those 2 games are OFFLINE mode. For EX: using mod that boost your attack power to 1 shot monster, alternate the loot table so you get better items faster than other players Surely, they would do something about it. They also don't get banned in plenty of games. And I can assume from the creation of these mods that people aren't getting banned in droves over mods.īut I'd really rather not eat a ban just for goof mods, so does anyone have any anectodal evidence or the like of modding causing a ban?
