Last October, Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced to “take full advantage of PS4” with timed-exclusive DLC.
The first Star Wars Battlefront was advertised alongside PS4, and it even launched with a limited-edition console. What makes this marketing note so particularly interesting is that both franchises have established prior partnerships with PlayStation. The documents list several first and third-party titles to “exemplify Project Scorpio’s six-teraflop, true-4K capabilities,” and both sequels were mentioned. Star Wars Battlefront II and Red Dead Redemption 2 will allegedly run at true-4K resolution on Xbox Scorpio, according to leaked marketing materials obtained by Windows Central.
